HAAF Spedition Römerberg

Our head office has been located at Römerberg since HAAF Spedition was founded in 1949. Originally located at the town’s core, it moved to the “An der B9” industrial park in 1996. The new location is at the heart of the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region. It’s proximity to various motorways (A61, A6, A8) and its excellent infrastructure offer superb conditions for a dynamic and growing company. The location offers a surface area of 14,000 m² and contains our three-level, 600 m² office, and our high bay warehouse with a surface area of 2,000 m² and 9 m stacking height. The vicinity offers additional, project-based external storage areas of approximately 8,000 m². Our location also offers a washing bay and petrol station for lorries and cars. Our head office employs approximately 80 people as well as 6 trainees in the areas of fleet, warehousing and administration.

HAAF Warehouse Logistics GmbH

Due to a change of name in 2007, the former HAAF Frankfurt GmbH is becoming HAAF Warehouse Logistics GmbH. This means that HAAF Warehouse Logistics GmbH is not a new company, but is founded on the warehouse logistics operations of our company created in 2000 by HAAF Frankfurt GmbH. The reason for this step are new and interesting projects in warehousing logistics which we are carrying out with great commitment and in close cooperation with our customers. The relocation from Frankfurt to Römerberg (near Speyer) makes it easier for us to ensure a qualified and successful supervision of the various tasks. From a legal standpoint, HAAF Spedition GmbH & Co. KG and HAAF Warehouse Logistics GmbH are two separate companies. This does not, however, impair the cooperation between the two houses. A close contact increases the mutual success, and the shared know-how benefits the entire HAAF group. The core competences of warehousing, picking and fine distribution are preserved. For this purpose, HAAF Warehouse Logistics GmbH has two warehouse locations in the Main valley (near Frankfurt/Main), Speyer and Römerberg. In total, we have approx. 15,000 square meters of open space and 10,000 square meters of building area with state-of-the-art infrastructure and warehousing technology at our disposal. We offer our customers one-stop services, from pure warehousing and picking to deliveries with our own vans and trucks, as well as reliable project support.

GHP Spedition und Lagerei GmbH

GHP Spedition und Lagerei GmbH came into being in 1992 after the fall of the Wall from the close cooperation between the Girbig family shipping business in Raßlitzer and our Managing Director, Walter Haaf. Together we founded GHP in Leuben-Schleinitz near Raßlitz, which has gradually become well-known in jumbo shipping and warehousing logistics in Saxony. It currently employs 10 people, and has 150 m² of office space, as well as 10,000 m² of open space and 5,000 m² of warehouse space. In addition, GHP maintains its own fleet with more than 40 jumbo lorries and additional distribution vehicles serving the region.
